Tsar Alexander I of Russia apparently ordered a unique blend of rare cognacs in 1818, and inspired by the tale, Master Blender Yann Fillioux created Paradis Impérial in 2011. This is a splendid, singular cognac steeped in finesse. It includes over 100 eaux-de-vie over 30 years old aged. The sheer decanter, crowned by a crystal cabochon and 18-carat gold-plated label, recalls the opulence of the Imperial court costumes.
The nose reveals itself with the freshness of the first flowers of summer, as the most subtle perfumes waft through the air with faultless finesse: spring essences, jasmine and orange flower swirl in a bouquet of remarkable intensity. The floral notes return on the palate, unremittingly, continually revealing new tones of expression.
